Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very fun cow. It has no excuse not to be really – the programmers have had over a decade to perfect their pseudo-beat-em-up style of gameplay, which over the years has blossomed into it’s own ‘wrestling game’ genre. With equal doses of fast paced action and slower, more strategic gameplay – all of which is down to each individual player’s style of play; WWE ‘13 manages to be increasingly fun when you break into the tens of hours of multiplayer gaming. Plus, with more playable characters (painstakingly lifelike characters, I might add – THQ programming in each individual wrestlers unique beads of sweat and generous pant-bulges) than one could shake a D-Generation X glowstick at, the variety this game has to offer is wider than the moveset of Chris Jericho.
