WWE ‘13 is a game targeted at a niche audience of 18-35 year olds who still waste their time playing video games, based on a product targeted at a niche audience of 18-35 year olds who still waste their time watching professional wrestling. Of course, the game could have been marketed towards an audience of small children, who enjoy both wrestling and video games about as much as they enjoy shoving crayons into their various orifices, but developers ‘THQ’ opted against this idea – presumably because they wanted a challenge after thirteen years of releasing the same game; with the only discernible difference being the shiny new number in each title.
