Rather surprisingly, this edition of virtual World Wrestling Entertainment has been a runaway success, as is the inexplicable tradition with the whole THQ/WWE franchise. In fact, the more ‘kid-friendly’ titles the company puts out, such as the arcadey WWE All-Stars, are the ones that have flopped harder than my numerous pro-wrestling in-jokes probably will. Apparently, the children would rather stick to their crayons. As is the way with big cat corporate developers, once a title has made them some substantial dollar-dollar, the obvious course of action is to shamelessly oversaturate their original product with an endless stream of costly expansions.
